PhD Student at KRISP working on genomic analysis of viral outbreaks. I am Khulekani Khanyile, holding a Master's degree in Genetics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Through my MSC studies, I contributed three scientific publications to the international scientific community.

I've been previously employed as a Scientist Technician in two national institutions, the Agricultural Research Council and the University of KwaZulu-Natal (ARC). And I'm now with KwaZulu-Natal Innovation and Sequencing Platform (KRISP), working on a PhD project, while learning new technologies, and also providing support to research and development within KRISP.
