Summary: How scientists helped the COVID-19 response in Africa? This short video show how KRISP trained 1000s of health care workers and setup advanced diagnostic and genomic methods to help the COVID-19 response in Africa. KRISP UKZN in partnership with TIA, the SAMRC and Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) of South Africa and is now preparing to increase its operations at the Dube Trade Port, a special economic zone in eThekwini in South Africa.
KRISP has been created by the coordinated effort of the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) and the South African Medical Research Countil (SAMRC).
