Dr Aquillah Kanzi is a post-doctoral research fellow at KRISP and works within the Bioinformatics and Genetics Unit. He completed his PhD in Genetics at the University of Pretoria in 2017. His fields of specialization are bioinformatics, functional and comparative genomics and molecular biology. Before joining KRISP, Aquillah was conducting postdoctoral research in the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute (FABI) at the University of Pretoria.
