We are excited to announce a new funding opportunity driven by the University of Bern, aimed at fostering scientific exchange within the Cluster of Research Excellence - Genomics for Health in Africa (GHA). This initiative is part of a collaborative project between the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) and The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities to promote scientific collaboration between Africa and Europe.
The GHA-SciEX Scientific Exchange Program provides resources for short-term research visits of up to 90 days, specifically designed to support early-career researchers from African and European institutions. These exchanges focus on building capacity in rare diseases, familial syndromes, and infectious diseases. This program offers a unique opportunity for young scientists to advance their research and foster international collaborations.
