Service details
Viral whole-genome sequencing (WGS) involves sequencing the entire genome of a virus of a known reference (re-sequencing) or an unknown (de novo sequencing). Accurate Viral WGS information is critical for detecting low frequency mutations, finding key deletions and insertions, and discovering genetic changes among microbial strains. We have long term experience sequencing many viruses, including:
- Chikungunya Virus
- Dengue Virus
- Herpes simplex virus 1
- Herpes simplex virus 2
- Human Immunodeficiency virus type 1
- Human Immunodeficiency virus type 2
- Human Hepatitis Virus type A
- Human Hepatitis Virus type B
- Human Hepatitis Virus type C
- Human Herpesvirus type 8 - Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus
- Yellow Fever Virus
- Zika Virus
