Lucious Chabukas is a Laboratory Technologist at the Public Health Institute of Malawi. Lucious Chabukas came to South Africa to receive training in SARS-CoV-2 sequencing in order to set up their own sequencing laboratory in Namibia to help to identify variants.

Duration of the fellowship: 11 September to 26 September 2021

Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) and Bioinformatics analysis.
