NGS-BRICS Viral Sequencing and Phylogenetics Workshop, 26-30 Sept 2022


The BRICS Network for Genome Surveillance (NGS-BRICS) was established in 2021 and generates and investigates sequence data of viral pathogens of public health importance, such as COVID-19. In the interest of increasing bioinformatics and experimental expertise within BRICS countries. Applications close on 1st of August 2022.

The NGS-BRICS is hosting a workshop on SARS-CoV-2 genome sequencing, assembly, and phylogenetic analyses. The workshop will take place 26th-30th September 2022, 9AM-12PM GMT, and will be presented virtually. It is aimed at BRICS scientists, individuals in the field of academia, or representatives working in public health laboratories.

The Workshop is aimed at anyone working in a BRICS country in the field of academia or in a public health laboratory.

The workshop which will take place 26th-30th of September 2022 (9AM-12PM GMT).

Applications closes on 1st of August 2022 at 12AM GMT.
